‘Reader, I married him’ brooch | Charlotte Brontë

£24.00

1 review

One of the most famous lines in all of Literature, etched on a brooch in pale blue glow-in-the-dark pigment; they belong of course to Charlote Brontë's Jane Eyre.

£2 goes to the Brontë Society to support their learning programme.

Care instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order. All orders are now sent Royal Mail Tracked-48. You will get an email to let you know when your order is on its way. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a refund excluding postage. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

Powered by women (and the sun)

Eliza, my daughter, is my model, an amazing chain maker, and my inspiration. When we went to the first Women's March in London in 2017, I already had my first Resist prototype necklace in my pocket, and she has been my biggest cheerleader and helper in running Wear and Resist.
