MAY I BE SAFE necklace – inspired by a kindness meditation
This MAY I BE SAFE pendant necklace is etched with words from a loving kindness meditation in glow-in-the-dark pigment, to be with you in the dark times.
It comes on a choice of chain, adjustable to three lengths, with a small iridescent star.
It is modelled here by a member of Women for Refugee Women. £2 goes to this incredible charity.
I am only shipping within the UK at the moment. Postage is £2.95 for Royal Mail Tracked-48 and free on orders over £40.
Please note Tracked-48 is just the speed of shipping and does not mean that all orders are sent out to arrive within 48 hours.
I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within 14 days of purchase for a refund excluding £2.95 postage. If your order qualified for free postage because of the item you are returning, £2.95 postage costs will be deducted from your refund. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.
I look at all returns closely myself and won't refund any jewellery that has been worn.

Wear and Resist was born in early 2017 out of an urge to channel my frustration and growing rage at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. I believe jewellery is about more than just looking pretty. What we wear can empower us and open up conversations. Statement jewellery that actually has something to say!

Such a cute little badge for my lanyard. As a teacher, I’m little restricted what messages I can have on a badge at school, but hope not hate is a winner. Looking forward to dark evenings so I can see it glow!
Bought the slate colour which is exactly as per picture. Text size is just right, not too large. Daughter loved it.
I bought 2 of these bracelets, one for me and one for my Mum. Life has been a bit rubbish, she always uses this quote. Shes super picky so I did think ‘hmm she probs won’t like it’.
I’d been scouring the internet trying to find something that had this quote on, I had an idea in my head. This was perfect. I love it so much. And what’s even better is my Mum LOVES it. The day after is given it to her she said ‘it glows in the dark’ (I said it was to keep her safe so that’s surely extra points for being cute?!).

The legacy of the Suffragette movement is as relevant today as ever. There is still so much work to do and this brooch captures the spirit of the movement and the debt we owe to those who campaigned and to those who continue to work for the rights and welfare of women.
