‘No coward soul is mine’ pendant necklace | Emily Brontë
This pendant necklace is etched in pale blue glow-in-the-dark pigment with the first words of Emily Brontë's poem of the same name.
The centre is gold-leafed and it is finished with a bronze vintage star.
(If you would prefer sky blue please let me know if gift message space.)
£2 goes to the Brontë Society to support their learning programme.
Emily died at 30, and like all good writing about death, this poem is really about life, and I love the intimate and powerful connection she has not with religion or 'creeds' but with her own, infinite, wondrous 'ever-present Deity'. It is said that Emily Dickinson asked for it to read at her funeral. The words read: No coward soul is mine, No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere.

Postage is £2.95 for Royal Mail Tracked-48 and free on orders over £40. I am only shipping within the UK at the moment.
Please note Tracked-48 is just the speed of shipping and does not mean that all orders are sent out to arrive within 48 hours.
I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within 14 days of purchase for a refund excluding £2.95 postage. If your order qualified for free postage because of the item you are returning, £2.95 postage costs will be deducted from your refund. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.
I look at all returns closely myself and won't refund any jewellery that has been worn.
About Sarah Day
Wear and Resist was born in early 2017 out of an urge to channel my frustration and growing rage at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. I believe jewellery is about more than just looking pretty. What we wear can empower us and open up conversations. Statement jewellery that actually has something to say!
