FRAGILE HANDLE WITH CARE brooch

£30.00

3 reviews

A Fragile brooch because sometimes we all need to be handled with care.

After my Mum died I wished there was some sort of international symbol of mourning that I could wear; those dusty Victorian black habits suddenly made sense to me. I wanted people to give me a wide berth, and for God's sake, not ask me to smile.

£2 goes to Welsh Women's Aid.

Details & dimensions

This brooch is etched in 5mm. hot pink clear acrylic. The words are hand painted with white pigment. It measures 5cm. (2in.) across and fixes with a metal fastener.

Care instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order. All orders are now sent Royal Mail Tracked-48. You will get an email to let you know when your order is on its way. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a refund excluding postage. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

This badge is perfect

I am recovering from major surgery and have no visible scars, but need a bit of extra ‘space’ and time. This badge has been just what I need and so many people have commented on how lovely it is.
So simple, but just right! Thank you Sarah :-)
