Salty necklace

£32.00

Here is a salty necklace to celebrate your saltiness, with an anchor etched with the words, 'keep clear' to  warn others to give you a wide berth :-)

The word 'salty' has been around for a long time to describe someone feeling – for want of a better word – pissy. Does it come from crying salty tears, or did it refer to grumpy old sailors who'd been tossed around by the salty sea for too long? Who knows. I love it, and have often been accused of being it.

This necklace comes on a silver chain adjustable to three lengths.

£2 goes to Welsh Women's Aid.

Care instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order. All orders are now sent Royal Mail Tracked-48. You will get an email to let you know when your order is on its way. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a refund excluding postage. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

About Wear and Resist

Wear and Resist was founded by Sarah Day in early 2017 as a way to channel her frustration and rage at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. Her daughter, Eliza, is her inspiration, model and chain maker. Sarah designs and makes everything in her Oxfordshire studio, with a proportion of sales going to these charities.
