PRO-CHOICE statement necklace

Overturning Roe v Wade in the US was shocking news, and even in countries where abortion is legal, women still face stigma and often having to travel long distances in order to secure safe abortions.

The Pro-choice range expresses solidarity with women struggling all over the world for basic rights to decide what happens to our own bodies. Trust women. It's that simple.

Details & Dimensions

These necklaces are cut from 3mm glitter attached to a backing layer of 3mm matte black. The 'pro' letters are cut from 3mm mirror acrylic. They come on a black chain and the word 'choice' measures just under 9cm. (31/2in.) across.

Care instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out all orders as soon as possible, and usually manage within a couple days of receiving them. Special orders and bespoke designs can take up to a week longer, and with such a big range of products, some designs are made to order so can't be sent next day. Please allow two days from ordering to posting even if you choose Tracked 24 or Special Delivery.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a full refund or exchange. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

Amazing quality and I’ve received so many compliments already. Love being able to be an activist and supporter even whilst doing everyday tasks and work.

Pro Choice Necklace is my new favourite!

I have been buying Sarah's jewellery for a while now and just adore it. Not only is it the best quality (I wore her FUCKTHIS necklace solidly for about 8 months during the first lockdown and it still looks like new) but she makes jewellery that has meaning, sometimes a difficult thing to find in this crazy world. Her Pro Choice necklace is my new favourite piece, and a subject matter which is very close to me and most of the women I know. Not only is it just beautiful but in a small way makes me feel like I'm standing shoulder to shoulder with the women deeper in the fight for their bodies than I. Sarah's also gives to charities that support women with every piece bought. I rarely leave the house without something of Wear and Resist hanging on my body! I love it! Thank you Sarah for creating what you do!

A beautiful, mindful necklace I’m slightly in the doldrums at the moment and wearing this necklace is a physical reminder that it won’t last forever. It’s beautifully made and I’ve had many comments on it when wearing it. A simple, but powerful piece. Thank you!

HOW IT ALL STARTED

About Wear and Resist

Wear and Resist was launched by me, Sarah Day, in early 2017 as a way to channel my frustration at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities.
