Nevertheless she persisted ...

Join the Persisterhood with this subtle typewriter font necklace. I wrote about my reasons for making this design and what the word means to me here.

£2 goes to Women for Refugee Women.

Care instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order. All orders are now sent Royal Mail Tracked-48. You will get an email to let you know when your order is on its way. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a refund excluding postage. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

Persist!

Treated myself to this necklace in the beautiful shell pink colour as a little reminder to myself to keep going through the last few weeks of my MSc. The colour is really sweet and goes well with everything I wear, the finish is perfect and I love that I can change the length of the chain. I've worn it to work a few times too and it always draws compliments from colleagues and patients, a little reminder to them too!

Perfect!

I proudly wore my "VOTE THEM OUT" badge to the polling station last week - so happy it arrived in time! I will keep wearing it until we have a half decent government - or at least one I'm not utterly ashamed to have (supposedly) represent me!
Great way to channel my rage and to prompt discussion to encourage people to vote, whatever their personal politics.

About Wear and Resist

Wear and Resist was founded by Sarah Day in early 2017 as a way to channel her frustration and rage at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. Her daughter, Eliza, is her inspiration, model and chain maker. Sarah designs and makes everything in her Oxfordshire studio, with a proportion of sales going to these charities.
