GISÈLE PELICOT IS MY HERO necklace
I could write pages about Gisèle Pelicot and how much she has stunned and inspired me with her bravery and refusal to accept ANY shame from the shameful men who raped her.
Time Magazine can get in the bin, she is the woman of the year by a million miles.
This necklace is smaller than the other ones in the Paris series, and comes on an antique gold chain adjustable to three lengths.
£2 goes to Women for Refugee Women.
Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal parts.
Shipping is free on orders over £40 in the UK, and on orders over $75 to US customers.
Otherwise, postage is charged at a flat rate of £2.95 for Royal Mail Tracked-48 on UK orders and $15 Royal Mail International Tracked to the US.
I aim to send out orders within 2-3 days, but at busy time this may take a little longer, as some designs are made to order.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a refund excluding postage. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.
About Wear and Resist
Wear and Resist was founded by Sarah Day in early 2017 as a way to channel her frustration and rage at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. Her daughter, Eliza, is her inspiration, model and chain maker. Sarah designs and makes everything in her Oxfordshire studio, with a proportion of sales going to these charities.
Solar powered! 🌞
Wear and Resist is now running on solar energy as we work towards making our home and workshop self-sustaining.
