I got to vote in two countries this year, and the stakes couldn't have felt higher each time. Someone on Twitter said that today feels like Christmas Eve - in hell. And I couldn't agree more. The time difference has never felt so cruel. I don't want to stay up all night, but I still have PTSD from waking up in 2016 at 3am to see the news. I wish I could somehow switch off from it all, I know it would help my mental health, but I too much is resting on this election. And though I feel exhausted I still have fucks to give.

Here are just a few: (Rant incoming and if you don't like swearing stop reading.)

💥Fuck Elon Musk and his dork bully energy. And fuck everyone who laughed along with his little charade and thought he was 'going crazy' or making a mistake tanking twitter. Journalists where are you? Who were his investors? What has he been able to achieve with hijacking media and illegally using it to sway an election?

💥Fuck Joe Rogan and his swollen scalpy head. I know people that actually listen to this nobber. He is the face of misogyny and male ignorance. 

💥Fuck Nigel Farage and his pathetic toading about. The man who made money on tanking the UK economy, also played a big part in helping Trump with Cambridge Analytica the first time round. It had worked so well to convince people to vote to shoot their own feet off over here with Brexit. I'd like to see him brought to trial for what he's done to this country. How dare he (think anyone cares what he says) but also talk about Trump being pardoned. Please God, let there be some sort of justice for this utter crap. Fascists are fascists, even if they are funded by billionaires.

💥And fuck the Supreme Court justices who took an oath to uphold previous decisions and overturned Roe vs Wade. Women's health is not fucking negotiable. We make up half of the population and we are your mothers. I often think if they could tell the sex of a foetus would they only allow abortions of females? or are women's lives just secondary to all cell lives? I had to have a D&C after a miscarriage like so many millions of women, I could have died if I had lived in a state in the US where they have made this illegal. It's fucking disgusting and barbaric. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK.

🥂Here is to the beautiful young people who are voting in huge numbers, and to all the women of colour who always choose the right horse, and to the CRONES, the older women, who will no longer be so invisible after this election who will also help decide this election.
