These necklaces celebrate the result of this historic vote and the amazing work put in by so many Irish women, working together tirelessly, going door to door and engaging and speaking with people to achieve the yes vote and repeal the 8th amendment banning abortion.

£2 from the sale of every feiminí and Repealed the 8th necklace and brooch goes to support Abortion Rights Campaign Ireland, a grassroots all-volunteer group dedicated to achieving free, safe and legal abortion care everywhere on the island of Ireland, for everyone who wants or needs it. #freesafelegal

Chains are nickel free and adjustable to three lengths. The word 'Repealed' is roughly 9 cm. (31/4 in.) long
and 2.5 cm. (1 in.) high. It is cut from 3 mm. (1/8 in.) thick acrylic. Necklaces will snap under pressure – please do not bend.
Moisture can discolour metal parts, particularly gold chains.

🎁 Is it a gift? ✨PLEASE✨ if you are ordering more than one item let me know if they can share boxes! Otherwise they will come in as few boxes as possible. 🌲🙂 You can let me know and leave a gift message at checkout.

Shipping & Returns

I aim to send out all orders as soon as possible, usually within a couple days of receiving them. Special orders and bespoke designs can take up to a week longer, and with such a big range of products, some designs are made to order so can't be sent next day. Please allow two days from ordering to posting even if you choose Tracked 24 or Special Delivery.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to Wear and Resist in its original box and packaging within a month of purchase for a full refund or exchange. For reasons of hygiene I am afraid I cannot refund earrings.

Care Instructions

Acrylic can break if dropped and will snap under pressure. Please store your jewellery in its box and keep away from lotions and sprays as moisture can discolour metal chains.

About us

Wear and Resist was launched by me, Sarah Day, in early 2017 as a way to channel my frustration at the political climate into a creative pursuit that would raise money for women's charities. It has grown word by word, but it's still just me, with a little help from Eliza, my daughter, model and muse. We currently support five main charities.

Solar powered! 🌞

Wear and Resist is now run almost entirely on solar energy.
