I'm sure you're already aware that the industrial action at Royal Mail is now causing severe delays and there are further strikes planned for the 14th and 15th December. I fully support paying our postal workers a decent living wage, and treating them with respect. The thought of future Christmases without posties is truly depressing. But this is no fun at all for small businesses who rely on the post! 

 

Unfortunately I don't have the buying power to be able to send each order tracked in any affordable way. I am not Amazon (though of course they are stepping up their own courier company)! And most couriers at the moment aren't taking on new accounts anyway. 

I am now sending out all orders First Class instead of Second for the same cost, but if you want your parcel to be tracked you need to choose Special Delivery, though even this isn't being guaranteed next day. (The tracking number with Signed For can only tell you when it's delivered.) 

I am working as fast as I can to get all orders out the door and will be closing for two weeks this Friday 16th December. Thank you so much all of you who have ordered early. Please be patient if your orders haven't arrived, as they won't be lost, they will just take a little more time. I get receipts for every parcel I send. 

I put so much care and love into every single order I make and send out, and thinking of them sitting in limbo fills me with the horrors. As does watching this government squeeze and squeeze our workers and institutions until they crumble under the pressure so their mates can swoop in and privatise it all. I have a necklace for this too.
